Model Scams - Modeling Scams - Victoria Secret Model Scams

Web-cam Interview Model Scam

Being asked to do a "web-cam interview" is a sick pervert scam intended to get you naked on camera for their personal pleasure. These are men pretending to be model recruits, represent models, or something to do with the model industry such as model recruit for Victoria Secret. When they are really just sick perverts that could never even date a model, no less get a model naked. As a model, don't fall for this as they not only get their jollies off you, they can ruin your modeling career as these fake 'model recruits' have your naked pics and or video. Some will go as far as offering to buy you a webcam. I've read stories from many models that went though this so called "model interview" only to find the "model recruit" on the other side getting racier and racier with their lude comments about your poses, your body, sex and even your boyfriend.

If a so-called "model recruit" asks you to do a web-cam interview using MSN, Yahoo, AOL, Skype or any kind of messenger, it is just to get you nude, even if you say you don't do nudes they will have all sorts of excuses for you to remove your clothing. You should stop all correspondence with someone pretending to be a "model recruit" trying to get you to send them nude photos and/or do a "web cam interview".

A fake "model recruit" will try to make themselves look legitimate and say they work for a modeling agency or modeling company or even Victoria Secret.

The fake "model recruit" will tempt you with the hope of being signed to a modeling agency or becoming a victoria secret model. Be assured that no legit modeling agency will ever ask for a web-cam interview. This Model site for new models describes the webcam model interview scam as well as many other modeling scams: NewModels.com

Bing ""web-cam interview" Model Scams" and you'll find many models who have been approached with the" web-cam interview" Model Scam.

If you have an experience with a fake model recruiter contacting you, please send me your story so I can share it with others. I also want to compile a list of legit modeling agencies and "fake model recruits". Email JBrook@J-Brook.com.

THIS IS FAKE!
Stepanie Mack Model Scam Card
ANYONE can make a business card and I've to say that is a pretty AMATEUR and unprofessional card at that!

NO COMPANY NAME
VS Amateur Modeling is NOT a Company Name!
(he wants you to think he recruits for Victoria Secret)

NO PHONE NUMBER - HUGE HUGE RED FLAG.
Never model for anyone that does not have a contact number. EVERYONE has a phone number, no less a professional modeling agency or model recruiter. Tell them No phone, no photos!

NO FAX NUMBER - How are you supposed to return a signed modeling contract? All legit modeling agencies have a fax.

Model Agencies don't call themselves "Model Recruit" They have a company name.

NO WEBSITE - A legit modeling agency, especially one that represents big name glamour and fashion models like Victoria Secret Models will have a website.

Fake Email - A real modeling agent will have an email address that will not end in GMAIL or yahoo or any other account that anyone can set up. For example, you can email J. Brook at JBrook@J-Brook.com (ie, you can email her at her website address).

Bad Grammar NY & FL are both capitalized but Ca is not.
